Lauren Ismaiel, APN is a board-certified bilingual Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Felician University in 2017 and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019.
Lauren has worked as a nurse for over 8 years and has extensive experience treating patients of all ages. She initially worked as a pediatric nurse for a home care agency. Prior to joining Advanced Psychiatric Associates, she also worked in the adult emergency room at Newark Beth Israel Hospital as well as several rehabilitation and nursing home facilities.
Lauren is fluent in both English and Spanish. She provides both therapy and medication management services. She is experienced in treating substance dependence and is a certified provider. Lauren is also experienced in treating treatment-resistant depression and can provide advanced therapies including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Spravato. She is currently enrolled at the NYU Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy prelude program.
