Meena Nuthi, MD

Meena Nuthi, MD is board-certified in General Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Nuthi obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Art History from University of Florida prior to attending medical school at Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia. Dr. Nuthi then completed two years of training at SUNY Downstate University as a surgical resident before transferring to University of Florida to complete a General Psychiatry residency.

During her residency, Dr. Nuthi was recognized as Resident of the Month multiple times. She was one of a select few residents chosen to participate in leadership training. She also served as the Co-chair for Diversity and the Co-President of the Graduate Medical Education Council.

After completing residency, Dr. Nuthi achieved board certification and began her career as an attending psychiatrist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. While there, she worked as a consult psychiatrist, lending her expertise to colleagues taking care of patients on the medical floors. Additionally, she provided coverage on the inpatient psychiatric unit as well and teaching and supervision for medical students and residents.

Dr. Nuthi primarily focuses on treating adults with a range of conditions including depression, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, behavioral issues, PTSD and substance use. She provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy services while collaborating with families and other professionals to care for patients on their road to recovery.
